BBA FC Win York Sunday League Title - Just!

It all came down to the final game, would BBA FC get that elusive single point that would give them the title….yes, they would – in fact they got all three with victory over the MK Donner Kebabs!

It has been a great season for the York Sport Village Sunday League and we must say well done to all the teams who have taken place. A superb campaign was played out and in the end BBA FC took the title from under the noses of SGFC and FC City of York Cosmos.

With the cup finals just left to play on the 6th December, it will take a brave man to bet against BBA FC doing the double.

There is only two weeks to wait before the new Sunday winter league starts and we are convinced that it will be as good as this one has been. At the moment we have eight teams battling it out, but we have space for others to join.

Matches take place at the superb York Sport Village, which contains 3 quality synthetic grass pitches – you would be mad to miss the chance to play at such a quality venue.
