Cusano Rojo Take Market Harborough Title ... Just!

The Market Harborough 6-a-Side League went right down to the wire last night as the top two closed out the season in dramatic fashion in the final game to decide who finished with all the glory. First placed Cusano Rojo sat on top spot on 48 points, closely followed by their opponents Argenreemer on 46.

Both sides had only lost the once going into last night’s game, with Cusano Rojo the defending champions looking to retain their title and Argenreemer looking to make it a memorial debut season by taking the silverware on their first attempt.

Knowing a draw was all they needed, Rojo’s defence held their nerve and try as they might Argenreemer couldn’t snatch that desired winner they so badly required. So
it ended 0-0 with Cusano Rojo being crowned the Market Harborough 6-a-Side Football League Champions for the Autumn-Winter 2015-2016 Season.

We also must say well done also to Argenreemer for taking the Runners Up spot and to all the other teams for their play and commitment as well.
