Sixes Take Six-A-Side Success.

Rushmoor Sixes were crowned the new league champions of the Farnborough 6-a-Side Football League on Monday finishing with a 2-1 victory over Veterans for FC. Rushmoor, who finished 3rd last season, had been involved in a four horse race with Skunkworks, Real Sosobad and LSD Eindhoven. Arguably their decisive victory came in the penultimate fixture week when they took the points in a 13 goal thriller, beating title challengers Real Sosobad 7-6.

Also, the mini pre-season league, made up of all our new teams, ready to join for the new season, saw Chubby Alonso go unbeaten to finish top of the table. Possible next season title challengers?

The new season of the Farnborough League starts this Monday – and there’s still time to join!!

Matches are every Monday night at Samuel Cody Sports College.

Games are 40 minutes in length and played between 8-10pm. It’s £30 per team per week – and completely FREE to join.
