Fantastic Three Rock Braintree!

Not one, not two but three teams were crowned champions on Monday to bring the latest campaign to a roaring close!

Atom smashed their way to the Premier League title, but were pushed all the way by Proper United. In the end a 7-0 thumping over Murder on Zidanes Floor meant that the trophy ended up with Atom.

Championship action saw the House Lannister sit firmly on the winner’s throne, master of all they surveyed as they notched up a perfect 14 wins from 14 games. In the end a massive gap of 14 points separated them from second placed Le Saux Solid Crew.

Finger Lickin Benteke Fried Chicken were the masters of League One, although the tension was stretched to the final game as they played Falcon, who were also vying for the title. In the end however, a 2-0 scoreline to Benteke was enough to make sure they were partying into the night.

Well done to all 24 teams in all three divisions for another great campaign of 6-a-side action. There has been some super football played.

Of course, like all our leagues, there is still the matter of the Cup Finals to be contested, so there is still a chance for 8 teams to claim silverware. Who will do it? Find out here next week!

Games are played at the Braintree/Tabor Leisure Centre on their Astroturf pitch on Mondays between 8-10pm. Weekly match fees are just £30, which breaks down to just £3.34 per player per week (based on a squad of 9) – super value!
