Rotherham Crown Three Champions.

It was an evening of cup lifting on Monday at our Rotherham (Thomas Rotherham College) league, as three teams finally got their hands on trophies.

First up was our Premier Division champions Dare to Shola, who not only won 3-0 on the night against 2nd place Desperados. Shola went all season with only one defeat to their name and in the end won the league by nine clear points.

Our Championship title was a little bit closer, but in the end a gap of five points was enough to seal the deal for Crystal Phallus as they finally managed to overcome the challenge of The Shy Teds, who ended runners-up.

Not content with two divisions, our Rotherham league boasts a third and this one saw Tommy’s Test Piece go all season without being beaten to take the title by twelve clear points. Brook FC and Scouting For Goals both ended on 28 points but a vastly superior goal difference for Brook saw them clinch second place.

Well done to all our 19 teams who competed this season and now the challenge is thrown open to any new teams, do you have what it takes? Can you compete for glory, have you the stamina and skill to take on the best?

Matches are played on Monday beat the Thomas Rotherham College on their three 3G Pitch (Synthetic Grass) pitches and with prices at just £28 per week (£3.11 per player based on a squad of 9) – it’s totally affordable.
