FC City Of York Cosmos Win Final.

It was a close game, but in the end a goal by Danny Franks was the decider and saw FC City Of York Cosmos beat Darfulser 1-0 to lift the cup.

Third game of the evening for both teams and it was a very tiring first half with neither team willing/able to commit bodies forward after the efforts over the night. The white and golds once again kept a clean sheet thanks to some fantastic saves from Edghill and the defensive duo holding strong. A quick kick in resulted in Shephard laying the ball off to Franks who slammed the ball home to ensure Cosmos lifted the silverware.
Sam Gray topped off a good season by winning the league cup for the fifth time in the clubs history. Full season stats and award winners will be announced in the coming weeks.
