Exeter Season Leaves Us Breathless!
Berlin famously sang the song – “Take my breath away” and that’s exactly what the Exeter league did to us at Mundial House.
What a season! Big congratulations from all of us to the “ohh er Matron” but brilliantly named Huge Tackle who completed a near perfect season just losing once in 18 games. This is in fact the 2nd season in a row that they have done this very feat (and won the league doing so) – not that we are going to put the pressure on them, but can they do the treble????
Also well done to Boss Copters who finished as runners-up, this was even more of a great finish for them as they were promoted from the Championship last season.
Speaking of the Championship, Rosebank Rattlesnakes are the team who have lifted the trophy after winning the league by 4 points over De Jong Mustard (these names are brilliant!)
We also want to pay special tribute to Foot who, despite finishing bottom of the league and losing every game up to the final week, put in a massive performance in the basement battle and pulled off a 3-0 win against second from bottom Real Fetish.
The new season in Exeter kicks off on the 2nd November and we still have spaces for teams to join – after all, do you really want to miss out on this action – of course you don’t! All you have to do is click here and apply. League Secretary and all round good egg Tom McDonough is ready to take your application forms and turn them into fixtures and fun for you!
