Wetherby Athletic Looking To Move On Up.

We only have one match in our Harrogate & District Veterans 11-a-side League this Sunday, but it could prove to be quite an important one!

-Wetherby Athletic Vets_, who occupy second from bottom, face off against Ilkley Town Vets who sit two places above them, but crucially, only three points ahead! If Ilkley can get the points, they will move 1 place up the table, but place a 6 point buffer between them and Wetherby, however they will still need to be watching over their shoulder as Wetherby have 6 games to play to catch up with them!

Of course, if the orange shirts of Wetherby do the business, they could leap-frog a whole host of teams, courtesy of a superior goal difference.

We still have some spaces to fill and matches can either be played on your home ground (subject to approval by us) or on the state-of-the-art pitch at St John Fishers In Harrogate.
