Veteran Cup Action Set To Rock Harrogate!
On Sunday afternoon, all eyes turn to the Veterans 11-a-side league as the Charity Cup quarter finals kick off at 2pm. An exhilarating first tie sees Premier League leaders Harrogate Veterans take on Championship side Kirk Deighton Rangers Veterans!
After a week off, Harrogate Veterans will be ready for battle and they will need all their players to be on form as they face a Kirk Deighton side who are riding high from their 5-2 victory against Barwick Veterans last weekend.
Also taking part in the cup are Wetherby Athletic Veterans whom, after a 2-0 win last weekend against Ilkley Town Veterans play Barwick Veterans who will be looking to put that Kirk Deighton result out of their minds.
Other ties see an all Premier Division affair as Thorpe United Veterans take on Sherburn White Rose Veterans whilst Championship leaders Thirsk Veterans play Premier Division counterparts Aberford Albion Veterans.
Also being competed is our Knockout Cup, and in this we see York Corinthians v Ilkley Town Veterans. These two teams have recently met in the league and Ilkley were the victors winning 4-0 in that match, will lightning strike twice or will the Corinthians get their revenge?
We also have mouth-watering matches in Knaresborough Celtic Veterans vs Garforth Villa Veterans, Amaranth Manstonians v Kirkby Malzeard Veterans and Harrogate Over 50’s v Otley Town Veterans. All these matches are going to be very close, it’s going to be an epic afternoon of cup football!

Matches can also be played on your team’s home pitch following inspection and agreement by us.
