Harrogate Over 50’s Looking To Close Gap.

There are two Championship fixtures this coming Sunday in our Harrogate & District 11-a-side Veterans League and it could see a few teams swap places!

With leaders Thirsk Veterans not in action, Harrogate Veterans Over 50’s will view this as a perfect chance to eat into the nine point gap that separates them. However, they need to beat bottom placed Otley Town Veterans who will be looking for all the points as they aim to swap places with Kirkby Malzeard Veterans.

The remaining match sees Barwick Veterans looking to move into the top three by taking all the points from Amaranth Manstonians FC. This isn’t going to be easy at all and is a very difficult match to call, as both teams are more than capable of beating one another!

With two great divisions and two cups to play in, it’s easy to see why this league has been hailed by many as one of the best Veterans leagues around.
