Harrogate Wednesday League Delivers Again
FC United and Roys Boys are the two teams who can claim to be the best in the Harrogate Wednesday Evening league as the latest campaign came to a thrilling conclusion this week!
FC United were pushed all the way to the title by Panic at the Isco, but even a 10-0 mauling of Ajax Treesdown in the final game wasn’t enough to prevent Panic from overtaking United at the top of the league. In the end two points separated the teams, but a fine effort was giving by all in the Premier League.
The Championship proved to be a more of a one horse race as Roys Boys remained unbeaten all season to easily clinch the title by a staggering 15 points over HGS Athletic. Well done to them from all of us at Mundial House for their amazing winning streak!
All eyes now turn to the Cup Finals on Wednesday 9th December. It certainly looks to be an epic night of football. Good luck to the following 8 teams as they battle it out to get their hands on the merchandise!
