Tuesday League Review.
York College Tuesday League.
Ashley Harriers maintained their unbeaten run and retained their top spot in the league with a 3-0 win over 3rd placed Park Lane Healthcare.
There was no shocks for 2nd placed The Jubilee as they overcame the challenge from bottom placed AC me Rollin 5-2. The win keeps them breathing down the neck of Ashley Harriers and it looks like being an interesting battle between these two for the title.
Michu at Degea Bar narrowly lost to Men Behaving Chadli 1-2 and find themselves in 8th place although they were slightly more buoyed by the news that Oasics lost 2-1 to Misfits United and because of this Oasics stayed in 9th places. However, with just a single point separating the bottom three, any one of Michu, Oasics and AC could end up propping the league up come the end of the season!
The last match saw Dotcom Wanderers close the gap to four points over Murder on Zidanes Floor with a 5-2 win.
York Sport’s Village Tuesday League.
There were shocks galore in yesterday’s league when the leaders FC Guppys lost 2-1 6th placed Salarmy FC, however 2nd placed Lads on Toure couldn’t take advantage of Guppys slip up as they were also beaten 3-2 by Darfulser FC.
Out of the top three, only BBA FC managed to record a win, but only just as they scored the only goal of the game against bottom of the league Dan United.
Margate League.
The new season kicked off in Margate and it’s Sticxs who top the league with a 3-1 win over The Motley Crew and then a record (for the moment anyway) 16-0 thumping of Chodenham Athletic.
Second place has taken by AFC Hare & Hounds who smashed 10 past AC Dead People, who managed to get one back.
The final game saw The Town also have a high score line when they beat Real Chat FC 9-2.
