Monday League Review.

Enfield Review.

There was just one match played in the Enfield Premier League this week, as it was Cup fixtures, but a 5-2 win for Hussars over second from bottom BR United saw them leapfrog over Enfield Casuals and into top spot. The only draw-back for the Hussars is that they have played two more games than the Casuals and only have a one point lead!

There were no games played in the Championship, but a full programme will be played on the 25th January.

In the cup, there were wins for Tekkerslovakia, Mosstyn, Fridge Freezers, Herbalife United, Tradewise, EDS and BR United whilst FC Jaguar Paws and Barnet Boozers played out a 1-1 draw.

Braintree Review.

Proper United and Kiss My Pass are join leaders of the Braintree Premier league after the latest round of games.

Proper United celebrated a 7-1 win over 4th placed Nuts County whilst Kiss My Pass beat second from bottom I Gotze No Idea 3-1. United’s superior goal difference sees them top the league.

Third place belongs to Dickins Cider who overcame the challenge of bottom of the league Men Behaving Chadli 2-0.

In the final game, both Real Ale Madrid and Atom had to make do with a point each following a 2-2 draw.

Championship action sees House Lannister sit on top of the league following their 5-1 thumping of Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels.

Equal on points with Lannister, but suffering an inferior goal difference, is Le Saux Solid Crew who beat Spanish Villa 2-0.

Ajax Trees Down won a tight match against Club Tropicana Drinks FC 2-1. The win lifted Ajax into third place, three points behind the Crew.

The cheekily named Cunning Punts beat Real Sosobad 2-0 to climb above Club Tropicana.

League One action sees three teams tied at the top with Benteke Fried Chicken sitting proudly in top spot thanks to an 8-0 thrashing of See You Later.

Second place belongs to Goat Headers who beat Paralympicos FC 4-1. The win takes the Goats above Falcon, who beat Nottin Her Forest 3-1, by sheer virtue of more goals scored!

50 Shades of O’Shea were able to distance themselves from the bottom when they played out a 1-1 draw with Horse FC.

Rotherham Review.

With two games played, it is Stray Ducks who have waddled to top spot in the Premier League courtesy of a good 5-1 win over Real Sosobad.

Second placed Dare To Shola have matched the mighty Ducks in terms of points, but a 7-5 win, despite being great for the attackers – not so for the goalkeepers, sees them missing out on first place due to goal difference.

The final match played saw Desperados beat Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels 3-2 to claim third place, two points behind the leaders.

Shed Army are the only team to maintain a 100% win record in the championship following their 4-1 win over Crystal Phallus.

Kimberworth All Blacks missed out on the chance to challenge for top spot when they lost 2-1 to Brecks Rengers.

Fat Wazzacks picked up their first win of the season when they beat Hope FC 4-0. The win lifts the Wazzacks into third place whilst Hope FC may be wishing for some as they languish in bottom place!

There was a massive 10-1 win for League One leaders Tommy’s Test Piece against Exeter Gently on Monday whilst second place Scouting for Goals could only manage a 2-0 win over Jumpers 4 Goalposts.

Third placed Shut the FA up were in seventh heaven following a 7-0 win over Crossroads FC.

Brook FC suffered their second defeat of the season when they lost 3-0 to GDM FC, the defeat means that Brook remain one of three teams on nil points so far!

Wetherby Review.

FC Vince blew the chance to narrow the gap on leaders When in Roma when they lost 4-1 to Bayern Morrisons. There is now a six point gap and the leaders have two games in hand over Vince!

The only other game in the Premier League saw Balotoolei claim all the points with a 2-1 win over Unreal Madrid.

There were no games played in the Championship with fixtures set to recommence next week.

York Huntington.

Blenk Engineering maintained their four point lead at the top of the Premier League with a 1-0 win over third placed Rehab Zaragoza.

Second placed York Hospital picked up a 1-0 win over Clive Owen & Co who also lost 3-2 against The Juggies, so not a good night for Mr Owen in the slightest!

The Juggies followed up their win over Owen with a 2-0 victory over second from bottom The Fox.

The last match of the evening saw Rangers run out easy winners over bottom placed Borussia Teeth 5-0.

It was a mixed bag of results for Championship leaders JCT 600. A 2-2 draw against Meatball Utd was followed up with a great 7-2 thrashing of third placed Real Ale Madrid.

Had second placed Teamwork won their match against Jam Factory FC, then they would have jumped to the summit, however they lost 3-0, so they didn’t!!

Bottom of the league Moss Tyres United also lost out on the chance to keep pace with the Jam as they were beaten 3-1 by Boca Seniors.

Inter Yer Mum ran out 2-1 winners over Rodallega Bombs to open up a three point lead at the top of the League One table. Rodallega went on to claim another defeat, losing 3-0 to JG Trade FC.

United FC kept some pressure on Inter with a 3-2 win over second from bottom Mikes Monsters.

Barcamoaners picked up a handy six points when they beat Mitrefinch 1-0 and Minster Alarms FC 3-2.

York College Review.

North Norfolk lost their first match of the season when they were beaten 5-2 by third placed Losequest.

Just been Tango’d held on to second place and closed the gap on the leaders with a 2-0 win over Green Hornets.

NF Dons jumped into 4th place when they beat FC Smurf N Turf 5-3. The defeat also allowed Inter Toria to leap above the Smurf courtesy of a 2-0 win against Reeves Escort Agency.

It was also a bad day for the leaders of the Championship Real Sosobad as well as they lost 2-1 to Exeter Gently.

Second placed Koo Koos Mamas came out top in a five goal thriller against Parker FC wining 3-2.

Phoenix Old Boys climbed into mid table safety with a 2-1 win over York Athletic.

Bottom of the league FC Parmo put up a brave fight but in the end lost 2-1 to 5th place It Doesn’t Mata.

CFR Clunj draw 1-1 with Cliffe FC to remain at the top of the table, however they lost their winning streak, although they still remain unbeaten in the league so far.

Stroke Titty closed the gap on CFR and also maintained their unbeaten start with they beat Croos Control 2-1.

Bish Bash Boshers lost a bit of ground on the top places when they lost 3-0 to The Pigeons.

Roma Sexuals 3-2 win over FC Holiday Inn was enough to see them jump into third place, one point behind Stroke.

Thirsk Review.

There were a few high scoring matches in the Thirsk league on Monday with the honours of the best scoreline going to Real Fernebache, who beat Tekkerslovakia 11-4.

League leaders Leave Myarselona beat Ivory Toast5-2 to remain two points clear of The Boozers who also recorded a victory over Whitestonecliffe Wanderers 3-2.

Black Swan were also amongst the goals, grabbing eight compared to Recently United’s Two – not a bad haul at all!

Northern Allstars climbed up the league courtesy of three points and a 3-1 win over Hardly Athletic whilst Rodallega Bombs beat the Beavers 5-1 to move into 4th place.
