Sailsbury Gear Up For Super Six-A-Side Soccer!

This April sees the Spring-Summer 2016 season of Salisbury’s 6-a-Side Football League kicking off at the fantastic venue of the Salisbury & South Wilts Sports Club.

With the Sport Club situated overlooking the pitches, the venue is the perfect setting for a nice summer evening after match pint, whilst stood out on the balcony watching the other games down below.

Matches are played every Monday evening, between 8-10pm, on the AstroTurf pitches, with top quality match balls and officiated by FA Qualified Referees.

The league is split into two divisions, with teams and players of all different skill levels, ensuring whatever standard you are, you’ll fit right in

The current race for the Premier League title is hotting up as last season’s Runners Up, the brilliant Braziliant lead the way on 31 points, but with Villagers closely behind them in second on 28 have an important two games in hand.

The Championship has already seen Phantom of the Chopra wrap up promotion and the Championship league title with two games still to go! They’re the only team in both divisions to have so far gone the whole season undefeated! Can they make it another reason to celebrate by picking up points in their final matches?
