Burton League Heading for Exciting Finish

It’s been a season to remember down at Shobnall Leisure Complex, and as the season enters it’s final few weeks, we are still no closer to finding out which team will receive the silverware!

With just a point separating Jav’s All Stars and 6 Lions in the top two spots, and Steve Morison FC a point further back in third, any one of three could claim the league title.

There have been some memorable results throughout the campaign, including an 8-0 win for Jav’s just this week, against Pam Salty Barbarians.

With the earlier clash between the top two finishing in a 2-2 draw, the meeting in two weeks time will be vital in deciding the Champions.

The new season of the league is due to start in mid-July, and we are looking for more new teams to join us!
Leagues at Shobnall run from 7-10 every Wednesday evening, and there are no joining fees for you and you team.
