Virgin's at the double!

The curtain came down on the Worcester Tuesday season as The Virgins made it a League and Cup double!

Following on from a season in which they lost just twice and finished seven points clear of second placed Egg Fried Reus, The Virgins went into cup finals night full of confidence.

After seeing off Buzzer’s Babes by 6 goals to 2 in the Preliminary round, they faced Perdi Seniors B for a place in the final. Once again it was their attack they had to thank, with a 4-2 victory taking them through.

Progressing from the other semi final was AC Me Rollin, who had finished the league season in a disappointing 7th place but had excelled in the cup competition, topping their qualifying group, and had high hopes of lifting the trophy.

Unfortunately for AC, the final itself was rather one sided, a 10-2 scoreline reflecting the dominance of The Virgins. Congratulations to them on a fantastic way to end the season!
