Two Horse Race In Tuesday York College League?

Looking at the table, it would appear that our Tuesday night York College league is between Goose and Ainsley Harriers, but we’re not so sure!

True, Goose sit on top of the league with 34 points from 14 games and have a match in hand over Ainsley Harriers who, in turn, have 32 points. However down in 4th place are Crystal Phallus who have only played 9 games (due to a variety of reasons) and could, if the footballing Gods are on their side, pip Goose to the title by a mere couple of points.

Of course it means Crystal would have to go on an almighty winning run, or Goose would have to falter and it is entirely possible that they all may slip up and either the Harriers or The Jubilee, who reside in 3rd place, may beat them all to the title!
