As The Years Passed, Snowhome Played On!
Business’s come and go, people change, but come the end of this season in our York Huntington Thursday 6 a side, Snowhome will have completed an amazing 15 years with football mundial!
To break this down further, as of today, they have:
- Played 638 matches
- Won 251 games
- Drawn 98 times
- Lost 288 times
- Scored 977 goals
- Conceded 1050
- Nearly completed 30 seasons
As you can see, that some amazing stats! Coupled with the fact that there are still four of the original team playing now and last Thursday saw a combined age of 260 take to the pitch!
The first match that they played was way back on the 12th September 2002 and it ended as a 5-0 win!
All at football mundial would like to say not only well done on such a great achievement but also thank you for your loyalty and custom over all these years. Speaking about this, Director Angus Taylor said, “What a fantastic achievement these guys have done, they are a credit to themselves, the league and to us as a company. To have played for so long shows just how much they obviously love the game and we thank them for their loyalty over all these many years!”
To reward the lads for their dedication and loyalty, we will be sending them off on a great paint-balling experience at their nearest Force10 venue as well as providing them with a full set of shirts.
