Thursday League Review.
Rotherham Review.
Thursday night action at Thomas Rotherham College saw league leaders Get Out Micah just manage to beat 2nd placed Is Your Motherwell 2-1. The win meant that Micah now holds a 6 point gap over Motherwell and with both teams having played the same amount of games, it looks like it is now Micah’s title to lose.
Hot on Motherwell’s tail is AFC Rawmarsh who managed to close down the distance to second place with a good 3-0 win over BOC’S Barmy Army.
FC Riverside scored a narrow 2-1 victory over Exeter Gently. The defeat keeps Exeter second from bottom and with BOC’s just three points behind, the battle to stay off the bottom of the league is far from over yet.
FC Banterlona recorded the biggest win of the evening when they beat Netflix & Chills 7-0. With this win, Banterlona opened a seven point gap over Netflix.
Harrogate Review.
Harrogate’s Thursday Night Premier League leaders Bilton WMC saw their lead cut down to one point when they could only draw 3-3 against FDS Harrogate.
Just one point behind Bilton are Bartles Barmy Army who beat The Midget Gems 3-0. With just a point in it now, this should prove to be a great race for the title.
Third placed Harrogate FC lost the chance to gain ground on the top two when they were beaten 4-2 by 5th placed Hampsthwaite Harriers.
The clash at the bottom between Wanyamas in Pyjamas and Farfrom Athletic ended in a 2-2 draw, which really did nothing for both teams.
The other game played saw Pro Evo Rovers beat Slackers & Hove 3-1 to move just two points behind Harrogate FC.
In the Championship, leaders Kentucky FC had a difficult match against 3rd placed Moraira CF, but they managed to overcome their challenge 3-2.
Second placed Shrewsbury Town remained six points behind but managed to beat BTCC 2-0.
At the bottom, CMC Moscow scored the only goal of the game to beat Pannal Pigs 1-0. This win takes them to just 2 points behind The Sons of Pitches, who also managed to snatch a 2-0 win over Blame it on Eboue.
