Colchester League Champions Crowned.
All at Mundial House wish to congratulate both Easy Tigers and Ward 9 for winning the Colchester Wednesday Premier League and Championship respectively.
Easy Tigers took the Premier Crown courtesy of a five point gap between them and runners up Kent Blaxill and with their final game ending in a 3-0 win over bottom club 50 Shades Of O’Shea, the Tigers made sure that they finished the season undefeated with 11 wins and 3 draws from 14 games.
It was also an unbeaten run for Ward 9 then saw them power to the Championship title wining all 14 of their games. Second place was eventually taken by Who Ate All Depay, but only by goal difference over Exeter Slowly after both teams tied on 28 points. A special mention must go as well to John Fowler Falcons who came in bottom place, but played the games with the right spirit and passion.
The Cup Finals take place on the 13th January and it pits 8 teams against each other with the draw keeping The Tigers away from Ward 9. Who will be left standing at the end of it with the trophy in their hands, find out here next week.
